What is an e-scooter?
A rating plate (also known as a type plate for short) is attached to your Carado motorhome or camper van and contains important technical data and information for identifying your vehicle. For whom is this information important?
You need the information on a rating plate for the following cases, for example:
- Workshops and dealerships: they have all the important technical specifications available and can order the right parts for your vehicle when ordering spare parts.
- Licensing authorities: they also need some technical data, such as the vehicle identification number and the vehicle model, if you want to register your vehicle.
- Insurance companies: they need these details in order to be able to issue the insurance policy or, in the event of a claim investigation, to be able to carry out a settlement/claims settlement.

Where is the type plate attached to your Carado vehicle?
On semi-integrated vehicles and camper vans, you will always find the type plate on the B-pillar on the inside frame on the passenger side (please open the door to do this). For integrated systems, you will find the type plate in the engine compartment of the vehicle. Open the engine compartment, where the type plate is located on the right-hand side of the cross member or on the radiator in the direction of travel.
