Don't have any gas available in your Carado vehicle?
Please check the following points to restore the gas supply:
- Gas cylinder empty
Change the gas cylinder. - Gas shut-off valve closed
Please open the gas shut-off valve. Refer to your operating instructions for the exact position in your vehicle. - Main shut-off valve on the gas cylinder closed
Please open the main shut-off valve on the gas cylinder here. - Outside temperature too low
If the outside temperature is too low (approx. 0°C for butane gas), the gas can no longer be vaporised. Here you must wait for higher outside temperatures. Use propane gas (especially for winter camping), which is available down to around -42°C. - Defective built-in appliance
If a built-in appliance is defective, please contact a retail partner. You can find an overview of your nearest retail partner in our dealer search.
Note: Have a defect in the gas system repaired by an authorised specialist workshop. You can find an overview of all Carado dealers in our dealer search.
Please observe the rules for handling gas:
- If the gas system is faulty (smell of gas, high gas consumption), there is a risk of explosion. Close the main shut-off valve on the gas cylinder immediately. Open windows and doors.
- Do not smoke, do not ignite open flames. Do not operate any electrical switches (such as light switches, etc.). Never search for gas leaks with an open flame; only search for leaks with suitable leak sprays. Visit an authorised workshop to rectify the fault.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact your sales partner. You can find an overview of all Carado dealers easily and conveniently in our dealer search.
