Don't have any gas available in your Carado vehicle?
Please check the following points to restore the gas supply:
- Gas bottle empty
Replace the gas bottle. - Gas shut-off valve closed
Please open the gas shut-off valve. Refer to your operating instructions for the exact position in your vehicle. - Main shut-off valve on the gas bottle closed
Please open the main shut-off valve on the gas bottle here. - Outdoor temperature too low
If the outdoor temperature is too low (around 0°C for butane gas), the gas can no longer be vaporised. Here you have to wait for higher outdoor temperatures. Use propane gas (especially for winter camping), which is available down to around -42°C. - Defective built-in appliance
If the built-in appliance is defective, please contact a dealer.
Note: Have a defect in the gas system repaired by an authorised specialist workshop.
Please observe the rules for handling gas:
- If the gas system is faulty (smell of gas, high gas consumption), there is a risk of explosion. Close the main shut-off valve on the gas bottle immediately. Open windows and doors.
- Do not smoke or ignite naked flames. Do not operate any electrical switches (such as light switches, etc.). Never search for gas leaks with an open flame; only search for leaks with suitable leak sprays. Visit an authorised workshop to rectify the fault.
