With the Backrack+ Wheel Holder, a distinction is made between the Light and Maxi chassis versions.
To determine the right variant for your vehicle, you have the following options:
- Measure the wheel bolts: If you have an M16 wheel bolt, it is a wheel hub for a Maxi chassis. An M14 wheel bolt is a wheel hub for a light chassis.
- Check technical documents: Check all technical documents relevant to the vehicle (e.g. data card, technical information on the order confirmation/invoice/...). In some cases, the chassis version is indicated on the documents.
If you own a Fiat Ducato Series 8 vehicle and have an automatic transmission, the wheel hub is from a Maxi chassis.
If you are unable to reach your destination using the above information, it is advisable to contact your nearest Fiat dealer. They are best placed to identify the correct chassis version based on your chassis number.
Your dealer will of course also support you with identification.
Which wheel bolts do I need for the Wheel Holder?
Regardless of the version, you always need M14 wheel bolts for the Wheel Holder. If not already available, you can obtain these from specialised dealers.
