Am I allowed to walk on the roof of my vehicle?

Please refer to your vehicle’s operating instructions for the maximum permissible roof load. Where the permissible roof load exceeds 75 kg, the roofs of our vehicles are accessible to a limited extent. This means that when walking on the roof, care must be taken to avoid concentrated loads. Point loads can cause dents in the roof. We therefore always recommend using a large base (e.g. a Styrodur sheet) to ensure that the weight is distributed over a wide area. To prevent scratches, the roof can also be protected by a sheet.
