General information
The vehicles are equipped with a single-stage, electrically extendable entry step .
Check whether the entry step is fully retracted before starting the journey and also after short interruptions to the journey.
The rocker switch for operating the entry step is located at the bottom right of the sliding door or on the kitchen unit to the left of the sliding door.
Note: Warning signals (e.g. "Inlet stage extended") may occur when starting the vehicle engine. Under certain conditions, such as during a cold start in winter, it can take up to 15 seconds for these warning signals to sound.
Operation of the entry level
The operating switch for the entrance step is located in the interior of the vehicle in the area of the entrance door, more precisely at the bottom right of the sliding door or on the kitchen unit to the left of the sliding door.
Extend: Press the rocker switch (Fig. 1) at the bottom until the inlet stage is fully extended.
Run-in: Press the rocker switch (Fig. 1) at the top until the inlet step is fully retracted.

Note: If the entry stage is not properly retracted and engaged, a warning tone sounds when the ignition is switched on.
Safety instructions
Before every journey, even after short interruptions, check that the entry step is fully retracted.
To exit the vehicle, fully extend the entrance step.
Do not stand in the swivelling area while the inlet step is retracting or extending.
Only step onto the access step when it is fully extended - otherwise there is a risk of injury.
Do not lift or lower people or loads with the entry step.
Care And Maintenance
The inlet step may only be moved by hand when the drive rods are released. If necessary, the inlet stage can be completely removed in order to clean it.
Detailed instructions can be found in the operating instructions for your Camper Van in the chapter "Cleaning the entrance step".
Emergency operation in the event of failure of the electrical inlet stage
If the entry step does not retract electrically due to a defect, it must be pushed in manually and secured against sliding out. The inlet step may only be moved by hand when the drive rods are released.
Procedure:
On the underside of the entrance step , pull off both locking clips (Fig. 2, point 2) on the drive rods (Fig. 2, point 1).
Release both drive rods from the retaining bolts.
Connect the drive rods together (e.g. with a cord or rubber ring) so that they do not slip into the housing.
Push the inlet step in by hand as far as it will go.
Secure the entry step against sliding out using the retaining clip (Fig. 3, point 1) .

⚠️ Please have work on the electrical system carried out by qualified personnel. Please contact your dealer or our support team.
Behaviour in case of absence
During longer periods of absence, it is advisable to switch off the majority of electrical loads using the 12 V main switch on the panel.
Even when the main switch is switched off, the central ceiling lamp, heater, entry level and satellite system, among other things, remain supplied with power.
For longer shutdowns or at the end of the season: Disconnect the living area battery completely from the 12 V onboard power supply via the switch on the EBL, as certain loads such as control units (e.g. Solar charge controller or panel) or built-in appliances (e.g. Entry stage) continue to draw current from the battery capacity even when the 12 V supply to the panel is switched off.
Start of the season
Check that the inlet stage is working properly before the first journey.
